Good morning,

How is everyone today? I was just wondering, is it normal for someone to forget how to blog after a certain absence? Because I feel like I'm a newbie, when I first started. Ahh, how time flies. I wish I can go back to university days. But enough small talk, and let's get down to business. One of the daily emails I get from WhoWhatWear really caught my attention. Every once in a while they browse the web and the streets for women with great style and the 'chosen one' is one ever-so fabulous Blair Eadie, 25. Where do I begin? Step aside peoples, a new style icon is emerging. Her style? Layering and mixing patterns and prints to create an ensemble that demands appreciation. From the colours, to the accessories, to the hair-do, Ms. Eadie is quite meticulous in her choices.Paying attention to the tiniest detail, she always comes out looking polished and immaculate. She actually looks like a cross between Sienna Miller and a modern day Audrey Hepburn.

I'll stop with my awe-struckness (yes yes one of those words), and I'll let you judge for yourself. I picked out a few of my favourite looks:

Pregnancy symptoms, minus the pregnancy!

It's Monday! So soon! And I woke up with a major itch to cook, bake and eat! No I am not PMSing, I'm just craving. And no I'm not pregnant either. It's a ... hmm... I don't know what it is.. But I know a lot of people who go through that.. Men as well. Anyway, as I was about to look up images for pancakes (Been craving NYC's Bagatelle's pancakes since the second I swallowed the last bite 7 months ago), I came across this very interesting blog called Closet Cooking, by a Mr. Kevin, no last name, kinda like Madonna, Shakira, Cher, oh and I just realized his family name is Lynch (saw his e mail address). So, Kevin, realized that his meals have been quite boring the past few years so he decided to look up mouthwatering recipes and share them with the rest of the world, from appetizers, to desserts, dips to soups, salads to bread. Mouthwatering dishes I tell ya! I'm salivating as we speak.. errr type? So, I decided to try a few of these dishes, and I'll keep you posted with how it goes.. I'll try to take pictures, won't happen anytime soon, considering my ridiculous schedule but very soon, I promise. I'm so excited. I kinda feel like Julie in Julie/Julia, only not! Hope you have a fabulous Monday because mine doesn't seem to be heading in that direction.

Diets and Cupcakes.. sigh

It's finally Wednesday.. 2 more days for the weekend. I seriously need the break from work. Tomorrow was supposed to be an official holiday, but not for me! Nope! I'm coming to work like the good girl that I am. I should get employee of the month! So anyway, I came across a blog yesterday, and I think it's adorable, it's called Confessions of a Cupcake-Loving Fat Girl, it's sort of a journal of a 25 year old girl living in the Middle East and apparently conscious about her weight and she wants to lose weight. It's refreshing to see something like that, so I urge you to take a look. And support people.. Lord knows we all need support with something like that. At least I do. And summer's coming up, and I need to lose weight too I will not only support her mentally, I will go on a diet too.
